The Collections Council of Australia has served as the Secretariat to Blue Shield Australia (BSA) since the founding of BSA in 2005. With the impending wind-up of the Collections Council, BSA has gratefully accepted the offer of one of its members, the Australian Libraries and Information Association, to provide Secretariat services for BSA during 2010, commencing on 1 February.
BSA is developing an independent website at www.blueshieldaustralia.org.au. Existing content from the Collections Council website will be moved to that site in due course. The current web-pages on the Collections Council's site will remain accessible until the new BSA website is ready.
BSA expresses its deep appreciation for the services provided over almost five years by the staff of the Collections Council.
